Mark your calendars for the Wooden Boat Rendezvous this Saturday August 18th! We are looking for more musicians and paddlers of stable boats to carry them, contact Mary 457-4324 for more information. PRIZES!
What: A celebration of old, wooden and homemade canoes, kayaks, umiaks, wherries and more. All paddlers are welcome and frankly, we need you there to help select prize winners. Participation is free.
When: Saturday, August 18th at noon (to set shuttle) with launch at 12:30 pm. For planning purposes, the Rondy will be over in time for Mountain Stage.
Where: Launch at Graehl Landing, paddle to the campground and boat ramp at University Avenue Bridge for BBQ and potluck.
Grills, plates, napkins, flatware, and condiments will be provided. Bring something for the BBQ and a side dish to share. There will be PRIZES!
Life jackets are required.

Please keep us informed about next years event, we have two wood canvas canoes and we will be building out third one this winter. We would be interested in bringing a couple of our boats up next year.
